At its inception, Boracay Plaza was not purely as a commercial undertaking, but as an extension of the home of its founders, meant to accommodate friends and strangers who were lured by the, then little-known, island of Boracay, thus making Boracay Plaza one of the first tourist establishments in the island.
Boracay Plaza Beach Resort is located right in the heart of the village of Balabag, north of boat station 1. On one side is the Plaza with the church, the community center and as well the communal basketball court and on the other side of the hotel is the White Beach. The family-run hotel with 27 rooms, is eager to integrate guests in the relaxed and friendly family-atmosphere of Boracay Plaza Beach Resort. The hotel lies right in the middle between the plush restaurants of the northern part of the White Beach and the entertainment zone a short walk south. At Boracay Plaza Beach resort one cannot only enjoy all amenities and attractions of the White Beach, but one can also participate at Boracays community life at the plaza.
Now it remains as one of the few resorts that are wholly managed by original Boracay inhabitants. Despite its being located along the elegant stretch of resorts in Station One, Boracay Plaza maintains its homey ambiance and the indulgent touch of Boracay hospitality.
